Policies & Procedures
To comply with legislative requirements, the Queens College Global Student Success Program (GSSP) has a number of policies and procedures in place. These policies and procedures include privacy, academic misconduct, academic probation and dismissal, and examination process.
Privacy Act
The Queens College GSSP is bound by the Privacy Act which regulates the way private sector organizations can collect, use and disclose personal information.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Student Conduct provides a framework of standard acceptable behavior for students. Students are responsible for understanding and complying with this Code.
All students studying in the Queens College GSSP have the right to be treated with respect and courtesy by GSSP staff and fellow students in an environment free from harassment and conducive to learning.
The Queens College GSSP expects you to abide by the Code of Conduct by accepting responsibility for your behavior and conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times, treating fellow students and staff with respect, honesty and courtesy.
Grievance Procedures, Appeals or Complaints
Queens College GSSP has policies and procedures for dealing with student complaints, grievances and appeals in a constructive and timely manner.
Access and Equity
The Queens College GSSP is committed to equal opportunity for all students to ensure that no student who has met the specified academic and English language entry requirements is denied access to a program and that no student, once enrolled in a course, is disadvantaged.
All Queens College GSSP staff, both academic and administrative, are responsible for ensuring that any student with disabilities is treated with dignity and courtesy, and given every opportunity to reach their full educational potential.
